Update: Violence in Pakistan's commercial capital leaves 14 dead; Has India started covert war?
As the death toll in Karachi riots has climbed to 17, the Pakistan prime minister has directed the concerned officials to submit a report to him.
In what apparently seems India's covert war against Pakistan, 14 persons were killed and over 80 injured in various parts of Karachi, the commercial capital of Pakistan. If seen in light of the barrage of Indian allegations against Pakistan as soon as the Mumbai terrorism saga started unfolding, a person having some knowledge about the past violence in Karachi can believe that the Indian intelligence has unleashed its 'sleeping cells' in this largest city of Pakistan because unrest in this hub of econmic activity in the country could affect the whole of Pakistan.
Fourteen people were killed and over 80, including four women, sustained injuries while 17 vehicles were torched in separate incidents of violence in the metropolis on Saturday.
Various incidents of stone pelting and aerial firing were also reported. Following the incidents, shops were also closed in most areas as chief of Sindh Police said that the situation had been brought under control. Eyewitnesses said that the violence started from the Banaras area when some armed men held a protest and blocked the Bacha Khan Chowk.
The protest turned violent when two groups exchanged fire in which several people sustained injuries. The protesters also torched vehicles. Meanwhile, unidentified armed men started firing in other parts of the city. Safdar, 30, was killed in Nazimabad while two brothers, Naseeb and Aqeel, died in North Nazimabad.
Babar Shah, 35, a resident of Pahar Gunj, was returning home when armed men killed him. Another unidentified man was killed in North Nazimabad. Three more people died near the Nazimabad Bridge in the Liaquatabad Town. Matiullah was gunned down in Paposh Nagar while Najeeb, 45; Mukhtar Ali and Muhammad Ali were killed in Orangi Town. An unidentified person was shot dead in Kala Board area. Most of the bodies and the injured were shifted to the Qatar Hospital while some of them were ferried to the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre and the Civil Hospital.
Civil Hospital sources said that they received the body of Najeebullah, who was injured in Baldia Town. He succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment, the sources said. Qatar Hospital sources said that they had received three bodies and over 90 injured. They added that most of the victims were from Manghopir, Mominabad and Peerabad areas.
Meanwhile, miscreants torched seven rickshaws near Liaquatabad No 10. Unidentified armed men torched five mini-buses and a rickshaw in Sector-4, F-3 stand, Saeedabad, while a bullet-riddled body of an unidentified man was found from a Suzuki Hi-roof CF-2176 from Block-L1 in the Surjani Town police limits.
Also, a car was torched by unidentified men near Ancholi in the Gulberg police limits and news of ariel firing was also reported. Armed men reportedly threatened shopkeepers to close their businesses. Incidents of violence were also reported from SITE, Pakistan Bazaar, Gulberg, Gulbahar, Moosa Colony, Garden, Saddar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Buffer Zone, Patel Para, Ranchore Lines, Kharadar, Mithadar and other areas.
Meanwhile, Capital City Police Officer Waseem Ahmed said that directives had been issued to the police to arrest and deal with anti-social elements with an iron hand. No leniency would be shown to miscreants, he added. He said that the police had brought the situation under control. He said that the police had arrested over 20 suspects and recovered arms from their possession. A Rangers spokesman said that their personnel were put on high alert and were moved to the affected areas to bring the situation under control.
Indian media, analysts pour venom against Pakistan
Mumbai carnage drop scene has ended, but the Indian media and political analysts without any evidence hastily started the blame game against Pakistan as usual and poured venoms polluting the atmosphere that so laboriously had been built up after years of confidence building measures.
National Security Guards ‘s commander declared the operation completed after over 59 hours of militants’ rampant carnage all over the vintage points in Mumbai, which left nearly 200 dead and over 300 wounded. However, the Indian media true to its traditional hate postures towards Pakistan lost no time in blaring all those scum, which pointed fingers towards Pakistan and holding it responsible for the tragic incident without any basis and evidences at all. Indian anchors and analysts appearing on different channels across the country with one voice went on analyzing the incident purely based on the figment of their imaginations in a way that could by all means give the perception of Pakistan’s involvement in it.
Indian media tasked to propagate against Pakistan made out such fake stories that ISI and Pak Army had trained the militants, who were brought to Mumbai in a boat, while the body of one Amar Singh Tandal was also reportedly found in it, who belonged to Pakistan and had remained in Pakistan jail for one year. Sobhaday in Raj Deep Sir Desai show on CNN/IBN said that we know where their campus were. Following Pakistan Foreign Minister’s press briefing, one anchorman of CNN India in his comments said that Pakistan was providing cover to the involved militants’ groups. One more Indian channel, India TV openly hurled blames on Pakistan for these attacks and dared to say without any proof that attackers had come from Pakistan. Star News channel in their run race for propaganda against Pakistan tried to be more creative and discovered one Chacha Rahman as mastermind of the attacks and claimed that he was Lashkar-e-Taiyyaba commander from Karachi. Zee TV also joining in the propaganda blamed that the militants were supplied arms and weapons from Karachi and in its effort to remain one-up straightaway blamed Pakistan Navy assisting elements involved in the attacks.
Indian leaders’ problems known to all that they are trying to hide their weaknesses and utter intelligence failures and find it safe putting blames on Pakistan, but the Indian media should have behaved responsibly in view of the delicate situation emanating after the attacks, which much to the saner elements’ disappointment, it miserably failed.

This is very sad.
At the end of the day whether its a Pakistani citizen or an Indian who is being wounded or killed, the blood that is being spilt is red in colour only. There is no difference .
There seems to be some very determined wicked elements that are hell bent on seeing both the countries being destroyed in eternal conflict.Whipping up emotions of the people and encashing it to their own agendas that is mysterious.
Whoever the people are in this destructive play game will have to pay one day and its going to be very soon when they will be brought to justice. The people of Pakistan and India are not a pack of fools who can be mislead and abused every time and at some point of time the desire for sanity, peace and respect to human existennce will be overpowering, forcing the rogue elements to come out in the open and fall in line with the
