UPSC/IAS Civil Services result 2011 declared

The Union Public Service Commission has declared the results of the Civil Service exams on May 11, 2011 at its official website. You can check the results here.

The exams were held in the October-November, 2010 timeframe and the interviews for the personality test were held in March-April, 2011.

Below is the list of candidates, who have been recommended for appointment to -

(i)               Indian Administrative Service;

(ii)              Indian Foreign Service;

(iii)            Indian Police Service; and

(iv)            Central Services, Group 'A' and Group 'B'.

920 candidates have been recommended for appointment, including 428 General , 270 Other Backward Classes, 148 Scheduled Castes and 74 Scheduled tribes  candidates.

The toppers are :

First Rank - S. Divyadharshini, Chennai.

Second Rank - Sweta Mohanty, Hyderabad.

Third Rank - R.V. Varun Kumar, Chennai.
