NP Rank:
US bent upon destroying entire world through its adventurism?
The US is gradually pushing the world towards a disaster because it seems that after ruining Afghanistan and Iraq on the pretexts of Al-Qaeda and false claims about possession of weapons of mass destruction, respectively, and destabilizing Pakistan by sucking the country into an unholy alliance against the so-called war on terror during the current decade, the United States is planning to invade Yemen in the second decade of the 21st century.
The latest claim of Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullan that Yemen-based chapter of Al-Qaeda is a "serious" threat to the United States hints towards this future adventurism of the US ruling elite.
WASHINGTON: Al Qaeda's Yemen-based branch is a ‘serious’ threat to the United States and has become substantially more dangerous over the past two years, the top US military officer said on Sunday.
"This branch of al Qaeda is very lethal and I believe them — in terms of what they say they're trying to do (to attack the United States)," Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the U.S. military's Joint Chiefs of Staff, told CNN television's State of the Union program.
Various people around the globe may differ with my stance and describe my viewpoint as an illusion but it is a fact that the US wants to destabilize the entire world so as to justify its arrogance and strengthen its role of the "global policeman".
In view of this situation, the international community in general and the Muslim world in particular must wake up from the deep slumber and strive for the promotion of the concept of peaceful co-existence and respect to the independence and sovereignty of states otherwise the US adventures might lead the world towards an unthinkable disaster.

Had the US tried to promote the principle of "live and let live" during the past couple of decades, the world might have been witnessing an exemplary peace and tranquility around the global today.

OMG!!! Thanks for the laugh. Ridiculous article. You actually believe al-Qaeda and the Taliban were going to stay put in Afghanistan once they gained control? You think Taliban control over the SWAT Valley and FATA of Pakistan is a response to UN/ISAF and US Forces in Afghanistan? LOL. I suppose you think the Northern Alliance was a CIA plot too! LOL.

Okay. The article may be ridiculous for you now but it would not be so after the passage of a few years because if al-Qaeda and Taliban were not going to stay put in Afghanistan, the US will never be able to eliminate them completely either, as is evident from the happenings of the last nine years. As far as Taliban control over the Swat valley and Fata is concerned, if it was not response to ISAF and US forces in Afghanistan, it was to the alliance of Pakistani military dictator, who is now unable even to stay in Pakistan. Until the Northern Alliance was not aided by the CIA, it was facing defeat after defeat at the hands of the Taliban. Wasn't it?
You did mention the UN? Is it not ridiculous that the UN endorses every action of the US but when it comes to implementation of the UN resolutions on Kashmir or against Israel? It is! So I have no doubt in my mind about the UN being a tool in the hands of the US to advance its agenda of converting the world into a Jewish state.

"it is a fact that the US wants to destabilize the entire world so as to justify its arrogance and strengthen its role of the "global policeman".
You cannot prove that the intention of the US is to destabalize the world, so you cannot rightfully claim it as fact either.

It isn't the goal of NATO/UN/US to eliminate either the Taliban or al-Qaeda. It is to deny al-Qaeda a stronghold from which they can train terrorist to attack the rest of the world, including Pakistan. And to support Afghanistan's government in it's struggle against Islamist extremism. Your people, the Pakistani, are quick to demand aid from the rest of the world and criticize when it doesn't come fast enough or in the amount you think you deserve and then rant on about American influence. And it wasn't the US who gave birth to and supported Taliban as a way to dominate the region. And it wasn't the US who reneged on the deal with India where Kashmir is concerned. Pakistan is at the root of all troubles in Kashmir and Afghanistan and yet you are unwilling to accept your participation rather you want to hold Americans as responsible. Your personal world view is dishonest and immature to say the least. And further to the Northern Alliance, it did not face defeat after defeat. It pushed the Taliban all the way back to Kabul. No thanks to Pakistan who sent thousands of troops including the Frontier Corps to fight alongside al-Qaeda and the Taliban against Massoud and the United Front. Pakistan is no friend to India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan or Kashmir and has spent much effort in the past with it's nose under more than one tent that wasn't her own. You can bash American policies only after you own up to your own behavior. And then you will still look hypocritical.

Hussain, you know that I appreciate your stimulating the audience to consider all points of view, though I don't always agree.
In this instance, I believe as an American, in democracy and individual liberty and freedom as spelled out in the US Constitution. I believe in our form of government and am allegiant to my country.
I believe that the freedoms that my country and I represent are under threat from other nations of a variety or types that don't have the same values. The opposition also cuts across national boundaries as opposition groups such as terrorists and al-Qaeda for instance have residence throughout the world and continue to expand their resistance.
So, in a very real sense, the USA and its allies are at war with those who oppose our standards and values.
The USA has a broad tolerance for diversity of thought and people, though citizens are always subject to governance under the US Constitution and its laws.
History shows that America has "marketed" its brand of freedom different ways: 1) by aid and diplomacy, 2) by imperialism, and 3) by military might.
I would prefer that America seek support from the world by setting an example through peaceful means. That takes time and patience.
Where the struggle becomes conflict is over the distribution of scarce natural resources whereby nation states conduct their business through policy that sometimes erupts into warfare. Oil is the instance.
When the battle over scarce resources is managed peaceably, then there is less struggle among people about their beliefs, I think.

In addition to GreenSpirit summation, one point you maybe confused about hussain;
It's not the U.S. that wants to destabilize the entire world, it's groups like Al Qaeda; countries like Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea, Pakistan, and now Yemen who have been specifically engage in destabilizing the security of there regions. The USA does 'police' the globe, we specifically protect the national security interest of the United States of America and our Allies anywhere on the globe that it's being threatened.
