There are reports that the United States has been urging the government of Pakistan to allow her troops to carry out direct operation in tribal areas situated on Pak-Afghan border. It is too earlier to predict the situation after the initiating of US troops operation in tribal areas. According to the tribal areas direct US operation will badly affect the war on terrorism. There are still elders in tribal areas, who think that the Pakistan Army can control the situation. Actually the war is still being used for playing politics. According to tribal elders, the Pakistani army can control the situation. The army is needing the support of the rulers of Pakistan. At the moment the rulers of Pakistan have adopted double standards. Their double standards have endangered the very existence of the country.

Yes, it is too earlier to predict the outcome but the history tells us that the fate of the US and allied troops will be no different from the British and Soviet armies that had invaded Afghanistan. I think it is mere an effort on part of the US aimed at face saving because the allied forces are already facing an imminent defeat in Afghanistan.
