Caracas, Venezuela, October 11, 2008. Today, central police authorities detained drug trafficker Antonio Pulgar Chacón who claims to have both Venezuelan and American nationalities. Pulgar Chacon is under an international search call made by Interpol. Venezuelan Home Minister, Tarek El Aissami (in photo), complained that the local police of Zulia State, ruled by the opposition, did very little to prevent the arrest of this drug trafficker earlier. The Home Minister also condemned the participation of Zulia local authorities in the protection of Pulgar Chacon.
