US Government Should Not "Get Tough" on Israel
Former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, Dr. Dore Gold, appeared on the Doha Debates, hosted at Georgetown University. The subject of the debates was Should the United States get tough on Israel? Dr. Gold argues that no; an Israeli-Arab peace must come from within Israel and its Arab neighbors and not from outside pressure. Furthermore, a peace agreement will not resolve United States' foreign policy threats such as al-Qaeda.
