Born in New Mexico - Anwar al-Awlaki

The issue is that US immigration is supposed to permit a defined number of immigrants to come into the country legally based on criteria, including that they have something to add to society, exceptional skill, knowledge, and experience that will make them productive. If that premise is undermined, then things can go wrong in the next generation and we are stuck.

US Immigration process remains haphazard and absurdly mismanaged by Congress and the executive branch, and that is one of the reasons why there is so much disappointment with the government by We the People.

Anwar al-Awlaki (also spelled AulaqiArabic: أنور العولقي‎ Anwar al-‘Awlaqī; born April 22, 1971 (age 39) in Las Cruces, New Mexico) is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Yemen, and of Yemenidescent.[9] He is an Islamic lecturer, spiritual leader, and former imam who has purportedly inspired Islamic terrorists against the West and, according to U.S. government officials, also become “operational” as a senior talent recruiter, motivator, and participant in planning and training "for al-Qaeda and all of its franchises".[3][7][10][11][12][13] The U.S. Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence warned that al-Awlaki "is extraordinarily dangerous, committed to carrying out deadly attacks on Americans and others worldwide".[6] With a blog, a Facebookpage, and many YouTube videos, he has been described as the "bin Laden of the Internet".[14][15]]

Who killed Bobbie Kennedy? Sirhan Sirhan.

“Sirhan was born in Jerusalem to a Palestinian Christian family. When he was 12, his family emigrated, moving briefly to New York, and then to California. He attended Eliot Junior High School (now known as Charles W. Eliot Middle School) in Altadena, CaliforniaJohn Muir High School and Pasadena City College. Sirhan's father Bishara was characterized as a stern man who often beat his sons harshly, and shortly after the family's move to California, he would return alone to the Middle East [2].”

“US counter-terrorism officials believe an Islamist cleric who once lived in London was the most likely suspect to have masterminded the bomb sent on cargo planes to attack Jewish groups in Chicago.

Anwar al-Awlaki, right, was born in New Mexico to Yemeni parents, and has been accused of encouraging terrorism in his sermons and writings. He is believed to have lived in London for 18 months before moving toYemen in 2004, and is now thought to be in hiding in Yemen's rugged Shabwa or Mareb regions, an area jihadists have at times found to be a safe haven.

He is linked to multiple attempted plots against the US, by plane and by car bomb. He is also linked to one successful atrocity – the fatal shootings of 13 soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas by an American Muslim fellow soldier in November 2009.

In April of this year it was reported the Obama administration had authorised his killing. Awlaki's plots to cause carnage are one source of concern, as is his use of the internet to spread the message that Muslims should conduct violent jihad against US targets.

Yemen is home to a group calling itself al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula.

Last night US homeland security official John Brennan, when asked about Awlaki's suspected involvement in the cargo planes plot said: "Anybody associated with al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula is a subject of concern."”

There is nothing wrong with legal immigration. There is something terribly wrong with how the US Government manages it.
