Same old story of mistaken target but unfortunate killing of innocent lives,from Afganistan.This time the US led troops killed 6 p0liceman along with one civilian.

Six police and a civilian were killed on Wednesday when US-led forces targeting Taliban rebels bombed a police station in

southern Afghanistan, the force and a local official said.

"One local national and six policemen were killed and 13 other people were wounded in an air strike," a US military spokesman who asked not to be named told AFP.

The deputy provincial police chief Ghulam Jailani Khan confirmed the incident and said an investigation has been launched.
