US welcomes strong China - Obama "O' lord of the Universe"
O' Lord and Master of the universe, makes a gaff that will make many people laugh and some will cry. "The first Pacific US president." lol
That certainly made me splutter in my coffee and this being the first news item I read. Well the last paragraph of the article is interesting and should get some comment.
Then within the bulk of his speech "Hey you guys we don't want your goods sell them somewhere else" "we will sell you made in America" He is trying to give a reason for placing high tax on Asian goods by saying the favorite words of my Filipina honey "It's up to you" lol
But really it's up to Obama and the good old US of A.
President Barack Obama says the US "does not seek to contain" China's rise as a big player on the world stage.
"The rise of a strong, prosperous China can be a source of strength for the community of nations," Mr Obama said in a speech in Japan's capital, Tokyo.
Better US ties with Beijing do not mean a weakening of relations with US allies in the region, he said.
Describing himself as the first "Pacific" US president, he said the US was committed to the area's security.

When you are broke, you don't buy more. You buy less. And you have to sell more to pay the bills you already have.

"The first Pacific US president" now I understand why lordship took on the title, but its still a gaff as the birthers will have a hay day.
