Pledge to Future Generations

I was just on the website" Born Again American.org " Amongst it terrific patriotic music videos and other features was a request to take a pledge to take responsibility for the political process and get involved in the political process.

My Pledge is as follows:

To give proper credit, I have heard variations on this theme from others but this is my current iteration of the thought:

I don't know how any USA Citizen over 30 can look any USA Citizen under 25 in the Eye!

I pledge to do my best to reverse and mitigate the damage and debt we have heaped upon these next generations so all of over 30 can look them in the eye again.

I will begin with this "CHALLENGE TO ALL USA POLITICAL PARTIES"

It seems to me, that there are some fundamental beliefs that should not be a function of political party... I have created a blog which is My Challenge to All Political Parties to adopt declarations like:
1) We will hold our own accountable to a standard higher than of the law? we believe that man's law is the minimum accept level of behavior and shall hold our candidates to a higher standard. We will not turn a blind eye to transgressions of those in our own party,
2) With regard to bailouts, We prefer the free market resolves business failures rather than bailouts. However, understanding possible future political realities, in the event of a future bailout, any person or business that takes bailout or stimulus money may not make any political contributions or bribes for 9 years to prevent exposing our politicians to temptation. In the event that any person or organization that took campaign Contributions or Funds is found out before the 9 years elapses, they must return all government funds plus interest within 6 months of discovery.
3) With regard to taking DNA from from newborns and keeping it on file, we oppose any system that does not require affirmed informed consent by the parents;
4) Reform of the Judiciary in the manner similar to MN HR 1632
5) I have not written this for my blog yet but, Term Limits... We don't need a constitutional admendment. Politicians are suppose to be out servants. By extension, Political parties are the servants of their members. Each political party should unilaterally pass a platform plank that says, NO CANDIDATES FOR ANY OFFICE MORE THAN "X" TERMS. THIS RESOLUTION EFFECTIVE ANYTIME ALL PARTIES THAT GET MORE THAN 15% OF THE VOTE IN THE LAST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PASS AND ABIDE BY THIS SAME RESOLUTION. And then don't nominate ANYONE after they have served "X" terms.

If a third party does not grow out of this movement, everyone needs to go to their caucuses and conventions with at least these 5 resolutions and get them into their party's platform. See my Challenge blog here: Challenge to All USA Political Parties
