USA's D-Day Disaster - Operation Tiger

Hallo,

We just returned from a trip through England. We are living in Germany. We had driven to Slapton because we were researching my husbands ancestery from the 16th century. We were not able to find the cemetery and the church right a way, however, we had met a very nice gentleman by the name of Rock Hamphreys, who told us about the tragedy which had taken place 1944. Now at home we researched the internet and found this very interesting video and history about the tragedy. My husband, who is American and I were very shocked to find out about this wha had taken place. We were very happy to be able to learn about this and we hope that a lot of people will see and read about this. We will make sure to let other people know about this.
