Presidential Adviser Van Jones has resigned as President Obama's Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the Council on Environmental Quality. He sent to letter chair Nancy Sutley on Saturday Midnight. Van Jones, under fire from the extremist television show host for his background in radical activism, has resigned from the administration.
Van Jones as White House Council on Environmental Quality's Special Advisor for Green Jobs appointed by Barack Obama in March 2009. He was working with various "agencies and departments to advance the administration's climate and energy initiatives, with a special focus on improving vulnerable communities." 
On September 6, 2009, Labor Day weekend, Van Jones has resigned as Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the Council on Environmental Quality.
