An accident in downtown Vancouver has injured three BC Hydro workers. A BC Hydro crew was working in an underground vault at Seymour and Georgia when an explosion occurred. BC Hydro officials say they found the injured workers out of the manhole.

The nature of the downtown Vancouver explosion has yet to be determined. Traffic in downtown Vancouver was rerouted by the BC Hydro explosion, causing congestion throughout the downtown core.
