This man picture is wanted by Police for a string of bank robberies in Vancouver. But then the VPD will be forced to hand him over to our Justice system who may need to meet it's weekly quota on "Catch and Release of Criminals Program".

Why would I say this?  One only has to read my previous story published today on "BC Justice offers a la carte to Chronic Criminals" to understand why.
In the meantime an overtaxed and underappreciated Vancouver Police Force need the Publics help in catching this menace on society in the hopes someone in the Justice department will have the testicular fortitude to keep him off our streets for a long time.

The ProvincePublished: Friday, February 29, 2008

VANCOUVER -- Police have released a surveillance photo of a man they say is escalating a string of bank robberies to feed a "serious drug habit."

VPD spokeswoman Laurel Kennedy said the photo shows the man wearing thick glasses but that he doesn't normally wear them.

He is described as white, 35 to 40 years old, five-foot-eight, with a slim build.Vancouver police "believe that this man has a serious drug habit and he is committing an increasing number of bank robberies to support his habit," said Kennedy.

Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or the VPD robbery squad at 604-717-2541.
