Caracas, Venezuela, 24 June 2008. Venezuela and Russia representatives will meet again in Moscow tomorrow to boost bilateral relation within their strategic alliance. Venezuelan Vice President Ramon Carrizales travelled to Moscow accompanied by Defence Minister Gustavo, Rangel and Foreign Vice Minister Alejandro Fleming.
During the celebration of Independence Battle on Carabobo, Western Venezuela, President Chavez informed of a telephone conversation this morning with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. Chavez thanked Putin for the sale of military equipment including Sukoi planes, army helicopters and AK 47 riffles. There is a possibility Chavez will travel to Russia on October 2008 to attend the V High Governmental Commission on Venezuelan Russian relations.
