Venezuela: One student dead and three injured during protest (updated)

Updated: According to a YVKE article, the badly injured student- 21 year old Douglas Rojas Jiménez- died this afternoon. He wasa law student and an active member of the official governing party (PSUV). It is unclear how he was shot during the protests.

Caracas, Venezuela, 10 July 2008. Four students were injured during clashed with police at Andes University (ULA) today in Merida, Soth Western Venezuela. One of these students in seriously ill as he was shot in the head. Students were protesting since yesterday against insecurity.
