LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN)
A jury finds O.J. Simpson guilty of all 12 counts in his Las Vegas armed robbery and kidnapping trial.

The jury has reached a verdict in O.J. Simpson's armed robbery and kidnapping trial in Las Vegas, Nevada, a defense lawyer and a court official said Friday.

Simpson arrived at the Clark County Justice Center at around 10:50 p.m. (1:50 a.m. Saturday ET). The verdicts were expected to be read once all of the lawyers and defendants arrived in the courtroom.

The jury of nine men and three women, none of them African-American, began deliberations Friday after hearing from 22 witnesses over 12 days of testimony. Chief among the witnesses were seven of the nine people inside Room 1203 of the Palace Station Hotel and Casino for the September 13, 2007 confrontation.

The evidence included testimony from the two dealers, four co-defendants who cut plea deals and cooperated with prosecutors and hours of often-profane, crackling, secretly recorded audiotapes.

There are 3 similar post at the moment - on the front page - don't know which came first - in terms of this post - couldn't you add something as an intro rather than just post the highlighted story?

@Lotus, it was late, I was tired. I posted this before any others and thought people would add their own to it.

I don't quite agree with some of the commentators on this issue. OJ is being tried a second time for the offences he allegedly committed 13 yrs ago. It is a pity that he got into this mess set up by a greedy business man who wanted to profit from the game. I learnt he only made $210k for selling the video footage of the episode. You can see that it was a well planned set up. OJ should have known better not to be armed when trying to retrieve items stolen from him. In so doing, he ran foul of the law and deserves to be punished. To get life however, in my opinion will be the highest form of injustice perpetrated on American soil. The facts of the case do not deserve life. I don't expect the trial judge to sentence him to more than seven (7) years for his stupidity. Whether OJ actually murdered his wife and her friend remains unproven. However, the press and the public have judged him guilty and that makes it impossible not to have a biased jury and judgement. I am sure the judge will dance to the tune of public opinion and give OJ the maximum sentence of 30 yrs. I hope someday, someone reasonable will reexamine the case. By the way, are the guys who stole OJ's memorabilia going to be prosecuted by the state?

O.J. Simpson didn't have a jury of his peers!
