A Teenage Sexting Ring Was Broken Up in Milton, Vermont

Police in Milton, Vermont state that several Vermont teenagers took part in a sexting ring in which students had access to indecent photos and videos of female classmates via email.

According to police, several teenage boys confessed to viewing sexting images and videos. Some of the boys may have used school netbooks to access the sexting pictures.

Girls took inappropriate photos and sexted them to boys who then sent the sexting pics to a shared email account, bromail@gmail.com, that could be accessed by more than one person. Since some of the girls in the photos were underage, some of the pics could be categorized as child porn.

The teens are not expected to face charges. Instead, Chittenden County State officials will likely send the students to the juvenile reparative board.

Incidentally, the term 'sexting' was added to the Oxford English Dictionary this week.
