Victoria-based activist on board convoy attacked by Israeli Navy
It has been reporte that 15 people were shot and killed today by Israeli naval forces who boarded a convoy of six Turkish aid ships which were enroute to Gaza. It is believed a Victoria activist Mr. Kevin Neish is among them, though there are no reports Mr. Neish is among the dead.
Mr. Kevin Neish a middle aged activist who left Victoria to assist in the humanitarian aid ships looks more grandfatherly in appearance than activist.
Mr. Neish had previously stated he would gladly "be used as a human shield", in any actions against him, though his actions were to be non violent as a protest against Israel and the quest to control the Gaza strip from all it perceives to be aiding Hamas who control the Gaza interior.
The aid ships formed by pro Palestinian and Turkish aid groups of which Turkey is an ally of Israel, may not bode well as relations between Israel and former allies seems to be deteriorating on the world political stage.
It is too early to tell if Canada will lodge a formal request to visiting Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu who is currently visiting Canada on the whereabouts and safety of one of our citizens, who while was prepared to act as a human shield most likely was not expecting violent action against those whose aim was non violence and helping the destitute in their time of need.

If this stooge really wanted to help the people of Gaza, he would have brought a few keys of some nice BC weed along with him to give to the violent Islamic fanatics of Hamas he supports. He looks like he's the kind of guy who would have access to a lot of it. Maybe a few hits of that would mellow out his Hamas buddies and make them not want to launch missles into kindergartens.
