Ontario police are on high alert in the continuing search for 8-year old Victoria Stafford.  Victoria
Stafford has been missing since April 8, 2009 and was last seen in the company of an unknown woman
.

Updated: Victoria Stafford case upgraded from Missing Person to Child Abduction; now on America's Most Wanted.

The unidentified woman last seen with Victoria Stafford is described as between the ages of 19 - 25, of slight build (120-125 pounds), wearing a white coat and black jeans with long black hair.  Grainy video footage shows Victoria in the company of this young woman and the little girl does not appear to be in distress.

More than 200 volunteers have turned out to help look for the missing little girl and the community remains hopeful. Over 1,000 people turned up for a canglelight vigil Easter Sunday to pray for the child's safe return.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Victoria Stafford or the identity of the young woman last seen in her company you are asked to call 9-1-1, Ontario police at (519) 537-2323 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Surveillance video showed the Grade 3 student, also known as Tori, walking with an unidentified woman as she left school Wednesday afternoon in the city of 35,000 east of London.

Investigators, who call the woman a "person of interest," are checking dozens of tips from the public about her identity, and are now working with a profiler to try to find out more about her.

"All police have to go on is that grainy surveillance video," the CBC's Christine Birak reported.

"Even the police and Victoria's parents have said it's strange because Victoria is not leaving against her will. It almost seems as if she knows who this woman is."

Watching and watching the video of Victoria walking with this unknown woman it appears to me as if this woman stumbles at the end of the video and steps down the sidewalk (maybe to cross the street), followed by Victoria.

If Victoria is 4'5" and comes to the apparent abducter's armpits, wouldn't that put the person at over 5'1"....

I'm 5'5" and my granddaughter is 4'5"....she barely reaches my armpitts.

5'2', 125 is kind of stocky....the sketched face looks slim....

The bulky white coat would make a 5'2" stocky woman look like a balloon....she doesn't look fat to me.

Yes something dosent add up here...
There are the huge drug debts owed by Victorias mother, whos a known crack and meth user...
There is the mother's relaxed demeanor smiling at the reporters and enjoying the spotlight.
There is the fact that she has failed her lie detector test and she has contradicted herself so many times over and over...(if she has passed she wouldnt be giving ackward and contradicting explanations about her "breaking down")
There are the bizzare fund raisings, mystery limo rides from strangers and family members changing their stories
There is the fact, that the woman in the sketch looks STRIKINGLY similar to Victorias mother...
The police can't come out and publicly say, that something here dosen't add up, since they don't have any proof (yet)...
I'm convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Victoria's mother either has something to do with her dissapearance or at the very least she knows what's going on and she's witholding information..
Also....history shows us over and over, that drug addicted white thrashy people are capable of just about anything...it wouldn't surprise me one bit, if she sold her daughter on a black market to feed her drug habit...

There is someting bizarre about this whole disappearance of Victoria right from the beginning that just does not add up.Obviously whoever Victoria is seen on the video with is someone that is known to her cause if she was going with someone she didn't know there would be some kind of struggle, shouting & screaming etc.  So is this actually a Missing Peron or (Abduction?) cause in the video it did not look like an abduction,Victoria left willingly. The day the video was shown  the police should have went to every establishment that has surveillance cameras and checked them from the time they opened on April 8th till the time Victoria mysteriously disappeared as somewhere throughout the day this mystery woman would have appeared somewhere to make purchases  whether it be a Variety Store,Drug Store,Grocery Store,Department Store and so on,they all have some sort of surveillance system installed. Sometime throughout the day this person of interest would be seen on video somewhere besides just walking with Victoria. It's been almost a month since Victoria disappeared and no demand for any type of ransom whatsoever. You always tell your children never go with strangers but the mother hops in a limo and goes mysteriously with a stranger to meet someone that is not known to her in Toronto sits in a room for 2 hours then comes back and gives the police a couple phone numbers to find if this person is legitimate when sitting in a room for 2 hours they could have discussed a plan of what to do with Victoria next then give police a different story to throw them off.The families telephones should be tapped for any unusal activity or conversations as this is where it likely stems from. The mother also gets a lot of media attention and seems to be calm, cool & collective through this whole matter. If I lost a child I would be going crazy physically & mentally not being in the media spotlight. If the media wants a story they should be getting it from the authorities not sitting on a families front lawn which they appear to be doing. Also there is fund raising going on which appears someone is gonna benefit greatly from cause by the looks it's going to be in the thousands & last time I was through a counsellor or phsychiatrist all you show is your health card (OHIP) and your covered. It looks like someone is getting rich quickly.  The whole story just does not add up right from the beginning and  Thats the bottom line cause Stonecold said so.

I honestly think the mother did it.. Like  look at her she doesnt seem to care to much. She failed the lie detector test why arent they investigatin her?? This honestly makes no sense to me at all. If she failed it or refused to take it shouldnt they be looking at her as a prime suspect?? like victoria showed no signs of struggle wen walking away. Usually little kids give some sorta struggle if being taken by some one they dont know.. Something doesnt add up at all. And she shows no emotion for her daughter missing! HONESTLY ITS HER KID WHO CARES WHO IS WATCHING YOU!!!! LIKE WOW!

One thing has struck me in watching all the various videos...   Whenever dad is speaking to the camara he usually gives the slightest smirk at some point. In one video he's even got his elbow way up in the air scratching his back and semi smirking while giving his excuse about how he's just focusing on her return.  There are body language experts, and that has to be the textbook example of "I am trying so hard to look cool and inconspicuous, but I just can't stop smiling because I'm actually pulling this off".  I don't think anyone should lose sight of the fact that Victoria is still missing, hopefully she will be found alive and well.  My heart and soul goes out to her.  I hope she can find that one shining moment to make a call or a noise that get's someones attention.  Or maybe the person responsible for her will think about what they are doing to that little 8yr old mind, knowing she has her whole life ahead of her...  and choose not to ruin it for ever.
