A year after being shot in the head on January 8, 2011, Democrat Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords will step down and resign from Congress this week.

In a video she published to the world on youtube, Giffords explains that she "still has more work to do", as well as more recovery. In the inspiring video, she thanks everyone for their prayers and she is getting better every day. Her sentences are broken and she speaks rather slowly, although she tries very hard to enunciate well.

Giffords is expected to attend the State of the Union Address on Tuesday night.

This is precisely the outcome desired by the programmers of Jared Loughner.

Wish she had designated her preference as her successor, to give that candidate a running start and perhaps to dissuade the programmers from trying to repeat their horrific black op.
