Minutes before Monday nights debate between Rand Paul (R-KY) and Jack Conway (D-KY) in Lexington, Ky a woman approached Rand Paul as he and his entourage were getting out of their car, but before she even had a chance to speak to him, a group of Rand Paul supporters grabbed her, ripped off a wig she was wearing, shoved her to the ground and stomped on her head, and it was all caught on tape by the local Fox affiliate.
The woman identified as Lauren Valle, a
MoveOn.org member wanted to present Rand Paul with an “Employee of the Month Award” for
RepubliCorp, a fictitious construct by MoveOn.org representing the money that has poured into the elections by various named and un-named corporations and used to promote Republicans across the country.
Police questioned the victim and filed an assault report, but no arrests have been made. Valle then gave a short interview before being taken to the hospital according to
TPM. The Rand Paul campaign has yet to offer a condemnation of the violence. A representative for
Jack Conway did try to get a hold of Valle to make sure she was OK.
The hate and violence that we have seen by Tea Party members at rallies across the country the last 21 months is vile. Just last month here in Nevada two women were assaulted by a Tea Party supporter for Sharron Angle at a Town Hall event. One woman was shoved over a chair and another was punched in the face,
Sharron Angle said after the Town Hall that the woman was ”looking for a fight”. Angle demonized the victim and tried to make the man a hero for punching a woman in the face. If Angle and other candidates across the country condone the violence instead of condemning it, these violent supporters will think that what they are doing is acceptable, as Sharron Angle led her supporter to believe after he punched a woman in the face.
Watch the video, and pay close attention to the hate and violence coming from the Rand Paul supporters.

Im curious as to when Jack Conway will apologize for one of his supportes assaulting a Paul supporter on the same night? However, I doubt such a civil action from a person with such things as allegations of criminal money being behind the Conway campaign, or Jack Conway being with in a party that attacks opponetents as the SEIU did to Mr. Gladney and then call Mr. Gladney a "uncle Tom."
