Jakarta, (ANTARA News) - Vitaly Pisarenko (21), first winner of the 8th Franz Liszt Piano International Competition in Utrecht, the Netherlands, on April 11, 2008, will be visiting Indonesia for a piano recital performance in three big cities, Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Jakarta.
He has appeared at famous concert buildings in the Netherlands. He also has made tours of many countries, including Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Hungary, Austria, the UK, Lithuania, and China.
He is scheduled to appear in Yogyakarta on July 16, in Semarang on July 18, and the last at Erasmus Huis at the Netherlands Embassy in Jakarta on July 19.
This year Pisarenko had also appeared in various festivals, including the Basilica Festival Vlaanderen, Delft Chamber Music Festival, Canal Festival in Amsterdam, the International Music Summer in Gelderland and the Busoni Festival in Bolzano.
Winners of this competition were given cash prizes, opportunities and support for more than two years to develop their careers by attending various concerts, and making tours across the globe.
Pisarenko held his very first recital when he was only 6 years old. He studied music in Kiev and Kharkov, then at the State Conservatory in Moscow under guidance of Professor Yuri Slesarev and finnished in 2005.
He continued his postgraduate at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, under guidance of Aquilles Delle Vigne. He started appearing as soloist with various orchestras in the Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Macedonia, Austria and Germany. end (*)
