This isn't really a news story but a prediction.
When Joe Biden spoke about his son and seemed almost on the verge of tears he undermined the folksy common person narrative that Palin has made her strongest card. If I were a gambling man I'd say the polls show a Biden win on this one. What did you think?

I'm in agreement - he had his best night tonight - perhaps even more impressive than Obama in some cases.
My opinion

I think Sarah Palin had a tough task to defend Republican party's policies and she appeared more confident than in recent TV interviews.
Also this new poll by the Washington Post has brought bad news for her. The result of the poll says that 60% of voters now see her lacking the experience to be an effective president.Certainly not a good news.

It looks like Biden carried the night.

The only way Biden could carry the night is to cover up his running mates record. There were ten outright FACTUAL lies that he stated as fact. Facts don`t lie and people can check Obamas voting record, he did not vote the same way as McCain on the surge or taxes. Cbs,nbc, abc do not fact check and continue with the b.s. laid down by the Obama camp. Biden with all his years in congress does not know what article one of the constitution is about. The FACT remains Obama has 143 days of actual experience as a senator, do you really want someone with such little experience to be president?

Joe Klein at TIME Magazine echoed my sentiments:
Similar analysis can be found at Time.com. Joe Klein writes that while Sarah Palin "did fine," Joe Biden "demonstrated a real knowledge of the issues." Biden, in Klein's opinion, also had the most memorable moment of the debate when he spoke about his wife's death and what it was like to be a single parent. That moment, according to Klein, "was more real than anything Palin said all night."
