Shooting at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Virginia

Two people have been shot at a Wal-Mart distribution center in Dinwiddie County, Virginia on February 22, 2012. Sutherland Elementary School, located nearby, has been locked down.

It turns out that one of the Wal-Mart employees shot a female coworker, and then shot himself. One of those shot was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

The initial report about the Wal-Mart shooting came from the AP, with no details. A spokesperson for the Dinwiddie County Fire Department confirmed that two people were shot, but did not say if the shooter was in custody, or elaborate on the conditions of those who were shot.

Meanwhile, the school lockdown has been lifted, and the Wal-Mart distribution center is once more operational.
