A top officials of United Kindom has said that war on terror was a mistake. Was the war on terror really a mistake or it was the need of the hour? There may be a lot of people, who will be disagree with me, but this the fact that war on terror was the need of hour. I think this was the right decision of the people of United States, who have given total approval to the war on terror. There will be no denying the fact that US President George W. Bush has committed various mistakes during the war on terror. He has chosen the wrong persons both in Pakistan and Afghanistan for fighting war on terror. Terrorism is still a threat to the very existence of this world. Terrorists have still been killing the innocent people. Yes, this is right that through the rule of law the world can win the war on terror.

Britain's foreign secretary strongly criticised the US-led war on terror Thursday as he called for the international community to respond to future attacks by 'championing the rule of law, not subordinating it.'

David Miliband also called for the shuttering of the US prison camp at Guantanamo Bay and the launch of new era of 'democratic opportunity rather than fear and oppression.'
Miliband's speech in Mumbai was among the first public remarks from a senior British official criticising how the battle against terrorism has been conducted since 2001. Miliband wrote an editorial published on Thursday in The Guardian newspaper that made a similar argument.
Britain's government hasn't used the phrase 'war on terror' since 2006 because Miliband said 'the notion is misleading and mistaken.'
'Historians will judge whether it has done more harm than good. But we need to move on to meet the challenges we face,' he said at the Taj Mahal hotel, one of several sites attacked by militants in the three-day siege.
'Democracies must respond to terrorism by championing the rule of law, not subordinating it,' he added.
Miliband said incoming US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's recent suggestion that President-elect Barack Obama's government would use a 'smart power' mix of military might and diplomacy echoed his own thinking.
'The new administration has a set of values that fit very well with the values and priorities I am talking about,' Miliband was quoted as telling The Guardian.
Earlier this week, Miliband met with India's prime minister, among other senior leaders, to discuss the investigation into the Mumbai attacks. Miliband told reporters he agreed with India's claims that the Pakistani-based militant group, Lashkar-e-Taiba, carried out the attack, saying, 'Pakistan has a fundamental responsibility to tackle the roots' of Lashkar.
But he made clear that he did not back India's claims that the Pakistani state could have been involved in the attack.
He called on Pakistan to show 'zero tolerance' towards militant groups based in the country that have been blamed for the Mumbai terror attacks.
Miliband emphasised that Britain was at risk of attack from similar extremists.
'It is a big issue for us in Britain too, because the majority of terror plots that Britain faces are linked backed to Pakistan,' he said.
On Thursday, he restated his commitment to diplomacy and challenged the West to live up to its own ideals.
'If we want to promote the politics of consent instead of terror and of democratic opportunity rather than fear and oppression, we must up hold our commitments to human rights and civil liberties both at home and abroad,' he said.

Yes the War on Terror was a mistake. Do you research the Web VP? The attack on 911 was done by the US government. They blamed outside foreigners to wage a war on their country. Is it a coincidence that those countries have major Oil resources? Or like Afghanistan is a major route for an Oil pipeline from the Caspian Sea, where the world has a major quantity of Oil resources.

America has been living its entire existence on War and Terror. They dropped 2 Atomic Bombs on innocent civilians in Japan, and they think people are not wanting to get the bomb to prevent this from happening to their country?

America showed its disfavor to War and Violence when the Vietnam War ended, and with a disgraced resignation of a Republican President Richard Nixon. The Republicans have been in a disfavorable decline since then as far as the military establishment is concerned. Ronald Reagan was able to bring people to accept the Republican Party again, with his domestic appeal, but it began to slide again when he plunged America into its greatest deficits in military spending arms race with Russia.

Although Russia changed to a Federation, and the Berlin War was dismantled, Reagan began the Bank Failures in the US having over 2500 bank collapses during his watch. The economy was on the skids, and Bush Senior came to carry on by having as many bank failures and thinking his war in the 1st Persian Gulf encounter in expelling Saddam from Kuwait would turn things around.

Inevitably the Republicans hardliners felt Bush Sr. did not go far enough when they did not go after Saddam and take him from power. This contributed to the accusations that Bush Jr. said Saddam tried to kill his dad, so gave him the right to invade Iraq after 911, even though Saddam had nothing to do with the 911 attack.

Bill Clinton brought America out of its economic plight, having fewer bank collapses than Reagan and Bush Sr. but still Clinton is a failure for not warning or telling the truth about the economic stability and vitality by not disclosing bank failure information to the public.

Certainly the US was toppling economically and Republicans had the most to lose from this, so they concocted 911, targeting the Federal Buildings that housed evidence of past crimes they committed, and thereby blaming outside forces on a farce terror attack. Of course evidence was destroyed, but the truth carries us onward knowing the toppling of the WTC and building 7 and many other examples prove the attack was more than triage of planes slamming into US buildings.

The War on Terror has been a complete farce, a complete facade, a complete crime, a complete mental disorder by dysfunctional Political madmen in the USA.

If anything it is a headsup to countries in the world to not seek similar power urges as the US has displayed. It is a headsup to countries in the world to seek communication and work together to end terror. It is a headsup that War on Terror can not be won militarily. The only means forward is through Nonviolence, and supporting efforts to eliminate weapons from society.
