This plane wasn't going to fall and crash on peoples settlements, it just wanted to land on Bandara Temindung. :)

Samarinda is the capitol city of East Kalimantan province in Indonesia, but surprisingly Samarinda doesn't have a big airport than just Bandara Temindung which located extremely near peoples settlements.

FYI, local authority is developing a bigger airport, remotely located from inner city called Bandara Samarinda Baru.
