Equal Rights or UnEqual Wrongs?
It is possible to legislate away medical care, it is possible to block social security benefits, it is even possible to make it against the law to get married.
But the government can't stop people who love each other from having a wedding.
"Love one another as I have loved you" .... right?

On September 7th, 1996, in the backyard garden of our Seattle house, we stood before family and friends and declared out love. We got a certificate of domestic partnership from the City of Seattle. Almost 12 years later, legal rights automatically given heterosexual couples are still denied us.
We don't want special rights, all we ask is equality under the law. The Straight Supremacists out there can keep their religious and moral beliefs. We really don't want to join your groups and churches, they're all yours.
