Saturday Night Live actress Amy Poehler has had a baby. She had the child with her husband, acros Archie Arnett.

Amy Poehler had to miss a night of poking fun at the presidential and vice presidential candidates because she was busy having a baby!

The 37-year-old Burlington native and Boston College grad along with hubby actor Will Arnett, 38, welcomed their first kiddie, a son, Archie Arnett. “On behalf of Amy and Will, I can confirm that Amy gave birth,” her rep told US Magazine. The baby came in at 8lbs., 1oz. “Amy, Will and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably,” her rep said.

Poehler’s “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update co-anchor Seth Myers broke the news to viewers at home saying she was out because she was “having a baby.” Special guest Maya Rudolph and cast member Kenan Thompson then broke out into song with a special rendition of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” dedicated to the new ‘baby mama.’
