Well what do you know? Good words from the US World Bank's Robert Zoellick on Gandhi.

Yeah....what do you know? Robert Zoellick has said some good things about Gandhi that totally surprised me. We know that he is the new President of the World Bank...and appointed to the post by Mr. President Bush...
Mahatma Gandhi gave independence to India with his wisdom and acts toward using Nonviolence in getting the UK to relinquish control of India while using the Indian people to proliferate their Opium Trade in China.
This is certainly good news in my opinion.....to the affect that the Americans recognize Gandhi.....It is still quite disgraceful that the US did nothing to help India when the US gained independence from the UK when they had their Revolutionary War that freeded them back in 1776.....And people should know that Britian kept its grab on India more than 100 years prior to 1776.....controlling India; until Gandhi came and achieved independence for India in 1947. That is quite a time span from 1776-1947 and not a word from the US?
Kick me in the shin......but I am happy today that at least there is someone in this American Institution that has the courage and guts to say good words for Nonviolence and Mahatma Gandhi.... Thank you Mr. Zoellick......you are a great man....in awakening....

Washington (PTI): The Word Bank has celebrated Gandhi Jayanti for the first time in its 64-year history with its President Robert Zoellick saying that the institution can draw lessons in leadership from the Mahatma's legacy.
"What a gift India gave the world," Zoellick said pointing to the wide ranging influence Gandhi had across the world.
He said the greatest lesson the world can learn from Gandhi was the "Lesson of Leadership" and claimed that the Bank holds up to his principles.
"May I give clapping and Standing and 3 cheeers to Mr. Zoellick." "Thank You Sir."
God Bless

And thank you Solarlife.......Good News is they are aware of Nonviolent Action, instead of the blindness of military might and force. Let's be clear that Patriots of the United States are not the first to go and run into senseless combat.
