West Indies Tri Series 2013 Live Streaming: India vs West Indies
Dwayne Bravo, the West Indies captain, returned from a groin injury to take charge of the team in their Celkon Mobile Tri-Nation series match against India in Port of Spain on Friday (July 5), and started by winning the toss and asking India to bat.
Bravo’s return meant Devon Smith had to sit out again. There were no other changes in the West Indies team. “The break has helped me,” said Bravo. “It’s good to win consistently. This game is also very important. We’re not taking them lightly.”
Virat Kohli, the stand-in India captain, admitted that he would have bowled too had he won the toss. “It’s a relaid wicket and looks dry,” he said, announcing that the only change in the Indian team was Bhuvneshwar Kumar returning to replace Mohammad Shami.
Kohli admitted it was a crucial game for India, who are heading in on the back of a 161-run loss to Sri Lanka and haven’t yet won a point from two matches. “We are always under pressure. Even in a practice game. We are not thinking too much about it,” said Kohli.
