Iran has been avoiding

real negotiations on the

nuclear  issue for years.

It is very unlikely that

Iran president Mahmoud

Ahmadinejad will agree to

a freeze  on nuclear research

and it is sure he will not give

up the option of acquiring

nuclear weapons.

Iran is the only country in the region that has publicly declared its intent to destroy another country in the region,” Gates told reporters. If Iran proceeds with this program “unrestrained,” there is a “real danger of proliferation” that would destabilize the region.

I think we have no clue what is going to develop. But there is a lot of anxiety. Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas, Lebanon all making a war cry and threats to Israel if it does.

For Israel to go alone we need to be very sure that we have no choice and that our lives are in real danger. This could be a war that will change the face of the middle east.Let us hope and pray that the rest of the sleepy countries out there wake up fast before it is too late.

Quietly, most of the Arab countries support  Israeli action. They fear Iran more then Israel.

Lieberman is threatening Syria. The constant Israeli overflying of Lebanese air space is creating the tension. I appreciate your passoin, but please be factual

The Mossad assassination in Dubai didn't help either. Sovereign borders, not important apparently

I'm quite curious as to what big announcement ImabadJammie will serve up this next week.

Am also curious as to how BO (aka Mr. Dialogue)will perform if he is pushed.

I think nothing will work ...... because the real root cause of the problem  is not being addressed. if you want to cure an illness you dont just treat the symptoms. one needs to attack the root cause. it seems like all the politicians  have chronic Amnesia. knowing the history of the conflict goes a long way.

correction: you make statements as if they were true. We have NO idea if the Mossad did this. Truly no idea.  However, even your comment about Liberman is out of context. It was a response to the original threat made by the FM of Syria. You need to really know the whole story in an effort to make the point.

Ok  lets see if I can break this down to simple terms. terror can be defined in so many ways to justify a groups or nations acts againts other fellow humans. but that can be argued. in its simplest definition terror is, panic: an overwhelming feeling of fear and anxiety,a person who inspires fear or dread; the use of extreme fear in order to coerce people (especially for political reasons); One who governs by terrorism or intimidation; Fact: Isreal occupies palastinian Land against international law. Fact: Hamas  uses terror to deter occupation by Isreali forces. Fact: Britain controlled Palastine against the people will before Isreal was formed in 1949. Fact:  U.N resolution  181 formed Isreal(who gave them authority besides self elected authority). Fact: both Isreal and Palastinians Believe the land  was given to them By God (well this part of the argument can only be solved by the gods). I mean the list can go on and on and on...... all the facts describe terror at all levels everyone involved is guilty to a certain degree. Iran simply is saying in so many ways  it will help Palastine from the terror activities of Isreal and will not be subject bully policies Period. regardless form whom it comes.be it west, east, north or south. one can assign blame all day long but the facts will always dictate the best course of action. see people lie, numbers and fact don't no matter how hard one tries to manipulate the facts.
