Westboro Baptist Church: Hate Group Tires Slashed at Protest

When the Westboro Baptist Church came to McAlester, Oklahoma to protest the funeral of Army Sgt. James McCluskey, they not only encountered counter-protestors from all walks of life, but returned to their vehicle to find its tires slashed.

The Westboro members could not find anyone in McAlester who was willing to repair their tires. Eventually, the hate group had to call AAA, who towed the stricken minivan out of town.

Even before the protesters discovered their damaged tires, they faced off with a massive crowd of jeering and taunting counterprotesters at Third Street and Washington Avenue, two blocks from the First Baptist Church, where the soldier's funeral was held.

Miller estimated that crowd to number nearly 1,000 people, and they not only drowned out the Westboro protesters with jeers, but with raucous chants of "USA, USA."

More than 1,000 people showed up for James McCluskey's funeral, including counter-protestors who attended only to drown out the Westboro Baptist Church protestors.
McCluskey was killed when insurgents attacked his unit with small-arms fire at Zarghun Shahr in the Mohammad Agha district of Afghanistan.

The only way this could possibly have turned out better would be if they had returned to their vehicle, found the tires slashed and then were slowly boiled alive in a huge bubbling cauldron of snot.

Pull that garbage on the families of fallen soldiers in OUR town, and you will NOT be so lucky.
