NP Rank:
What is a Clinton speech worth? $5 according to Torontonians
This makes me proud to be Canadian. We know the value of BS and that value is about the same as we pay to see a bad second run film. The guy is a greedy celf-centred, blowhard. Pay him and he performs like a monkey grinder, rolling out the same old tired schtick. The only political speaker who is less insightful is outright hypocrit Al Gore.
Organizers slash ticket prices for Clinton speech
Officials at the CNE are offering tickets at a bargain price for this afternoon's speech by former U.S. president Bill Clinton at BMO Field, after only a third of available tickets were sold as of late Friday.

Only 7,200 of the 20,000 available tickets have been sold for Clinton's speech, which will be entitled "Embracing our common humanity."
In an attempt to fill seats, CNE organizers have announced that spectators can pay an extra $5 on top of the $15 admission fee to the Ex to gain entry to Clinton's speech. There is a $2.50 handling fee, as well.
"President Clinton has never spoken in front of such a large audience here in Canada, so we're doing a lot of firsts here," CNE communications director Chris McDowall told CTV Toronto.
The price drop is a significant reduction from the top ticket price of $50.
