Unfortunately, the answer isn't that easy. The exact health care vote time is unknown. The session opened at 1:00 pm EDT. The first vote may take place around 3:00 pm, but there could be lengthy delays as the debate could get heated.
All we know is that the health care vote time will be sometime in the late afternoon or early evening. We will be sure to update if and when an exact time for the health care vote is given.
The Democrats insist that they have enough votes to pass the health care reform.
According to CNN's latest count, 33 Democrats plan to vote against the legislation. Thirty-eight Democratic "no" votes are needed to kill the bill.
A total of 216 votes are need to pass the health care reform bill. In the hours before the health care vote, House Democratic leaders are reportedly working to gain support from a few Democrats who have concerns about about the abortion issue.
According to Talking Points Memo, the faction of concerned Democrats are led by Rep. Bart Supak (D-MI). Others include Kathy Dahlkemper (D-PA), Marion Berry (D-AR), Jerry Costello (D-IL), Joe Donnelly (D-IN), Steve Driehaus (D-OH), and Dan Lipinski (D-IL).
Republicans are fighting to oppose health care reforms. House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio says that they fight to minimize government involvement in health care.
