Earlier today, I published a post, White House Web Site Asks ‘Who Do You Trust?’ When It Comes to Government-Run Health Care, which made special note of the graphic above.  A short while later, someone who had read that post mentioned that it reminded him of a particularly-memorable scene from the 1989 movie, “Batman”.

In that scene, which begins at the 2:43 mark of the video below, “The Joker” (Jack Nicholson) shows his concern for the downtrodden citizens of Gotham by saying, “And now, folks, it’s time for “Who do you trust!” Hubba, hubba, hubba! Money, money, money! Who do you trust? Me? I’m giving away free money. And where is the Batman? HE’S AT HOME WASHING HIS TIGHTS!” Immediately thereafter, he gasses them.  (Perhaps, he’ll do the same tonight?)
