Defending President Bush’s pre-war intelligence failure, White House spokesperson Dana Perino claimed that “other leaders from all around the world” thought Saddam had WMD. When Helen Thomas noted that British intelligence — referring to the the Downing Street Memo — disagreed with Bush, Perino lied and said that she had “debunked” the Downing Street Memo.
