Prepare yourselves for something funny. Did you know that white people are a minority in America? Did you know that white people are a minority in the world? Did you know that the white race needs saving? Well, why not-- you ignorant bastards?! And it's only because you DON'T know, that white racists have had to resort to creating White Power TV, which is passive-aggressively named "http://www.thomasrobb.com/". One thing that's constant about white racist: they're incredible cowards.
So you may be asking, "Who the hell is this Thomas Robb person"? Well, you know-nuthin' moron, Pastor (!) Thomas Robb is the host of the webcast "This is the Klan", which is now in episode #436 (I think-- I dunno, I'm a dumbass about this silly Klan shit, like most of you). If you haven't seen it, well...you just HAVE TO! You can hear all about how horrible Democrats and blacks and hispanics and mulsims and jews are-- all in glorious standard-definition VHS-quality video (really, guys-- go buy a HD Flip Camera! Hey...it's a "Global Minority Report"...!
They have (wisely) disable the ability to embed their videos. So you'll just have to click here. Trust me, it's worth your time.
The bovine lady next to Robb is Klan Spokesperson Rachel Pendergraft. Enchanting, this pair. Any show that starts with a banjo playing "Dixie", you KNOW it's gonna be good! The production values are brilliant-- notice how close they are sitting to each other-- so as to hide the fact that their backdrop is not big enough to hide the moonshine still in their basement. You will NOT find a more articulate, thoughtful, and educated pair than these two! If you don't have the energy to wade through the entire 28 minutes of this episode-- go to the 17 minute mark, where you'll hear them talk about a situation with a black man and a white barber. This segment pretty much sums up the (lack of) mind set of the white racist. This is by far one of the funniest things I've ever seen; pig-ignorance this intense is nothing to get angry about-- it's WAY too funny to know that people are this stupid.
And if you thought that show was something, wait 'till you see The Andrew Show!
I love how they had to green screen some books behind this kid (as if ANY OF THESE PEOPLE have every read books!). Look, I'm not going to bust this kid's balls-- it's not his fault that he's being forced to read some adult's stupid conspiracy theories. The Marmaduke movie is an allegory for anti-white racism in America? Really? It's just sad, really. Or just plain stupid. Videogum managed to get a link to embed this beauty.
But Andrew is not the only kid offering some words to the empty-headed, bigoted white folks of America. Catch the 18th episode of Shelby Pendergraft's (spawn of the pig Rachel, I'm sure) Youth Focus with Shelby Pendergraft, presented by The Knight's Party.
They had to green screen some books behind this genius, too. I don't know why these people pretend that they are readers (isn't that an elitist activity?) Judging by the way she struggles through her written notes, I don't believe for a second that she has spent any time reading anything written by anyone with an education preceding grade school. Anyway, this is a show dedicated to all the white youth of the world-- to let them know that they're not alone, no matter what people say. Sigh. I won't pick on a little boy, but this is a teenager, so...I'll just say that she is as painfully inarticulate as her mother. If you're watching episode 18, fast forward to 9:47, where she talks about what she saw while watching VH-1 on the treadmill; fags and race mixing.
And don't think that her mother is just tied down to Pastor Robb's show-- she has a show of her own! Check out "The White Woman's Perspective"!
Okay, well...this time I have no idea what the hell she has green screened behind her-- she's at least keeping it honest by not showing any books. You don't have to wade through this one to find the stupidity-- she comes right out swinging in this one! She holds up a copy of Cosmo featuring Julia Stiles, and talks about how she doesn't like Stiles because she's had interracial love interests in movies. She says that her values are skewed, and that she's leading good white girls to think that if you want good sex and a knight in shining armor, then they need to go black. As if this gussied-up trash is something to look up to. Talk about lipstick on a pig...
As Thomas Robb and Rachel Pendergraft have repeatedly offered, there is "far too much hypersensitivity in the non-white community". Let those same people read ANYTHING that I've written about race, and they would cry like dogs on the way to the vet. Folks like this, and Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh, and Sarah Palin...these self-righteous, small-minded white folks that can't see past the color of their own skin...these are the people that immediately lose their minds when they are forced to face their hypocrisy and ignorance. In my life, and in my experience, whites are THE MOST SENSITIVE when it comes to criticism-- not even bigotry...just flat out, basic criticism. They cannot handle it. People like this have had centuries in this country of smelling their own farts. Anyone to tell them that their farts are foul...well, then it's blasphemy. Typical.
So, ladies and germs, if you want stupid, look no further than White Pride TV. This is the kind of junk that represents the voice of the modern white racist. When you hear white politicians and teabaggers talking about the need to take our country back...THIS is the mind set. These are the people that are (barely) articulating what the most cowardly of racists and bigots would dare not say so bluntly in public. I say that everyone needs to watch the shows on this site; non-whites and normal whites. Learn what flitters around in the tiny minds of the inbred racists. Learn their ways. Listen to their flumbling words. Know thy enemy.

Point taken: race and gender are natural as DNA, they are genetic traits.
What made "black pride" relevant was white people making them slaves. What makes Latinos relevant is white people making them maids and farm hands and not wanting to care for their health, safety, or children like they would with any other workers.
What makes gay people proud is they don't have to hide in the closet and can serve their country in uniform without being harrassed for being the human beings they are born to be.

Well, C, this was inevitable given the narrative that has been espoused and lamented by the Right Wing for more than 20 years.
The point that should NOT be lost regarding calls for White Pride is, invariably, when it comes to a call for White Pride, that goes hand in hand with taking things back from and suppressing the rights of non Whites due to the near paranoid driven conclusion reached by those that espouse the belief in the philosophy.

I'm not about to begin to support the people this article is centered on, but it may be a surprise to the author to find that the latino male surpassed white males in the 2000 census figures in most counties of California as the leading demographic. That was over 10 years ago, and I've been waiting patiently to get a letter in the mail informing me of my new priviledges regarding preferential hiring and government contracting because of this newly determined figure which deems me a "minority".
More enlightened minds realize that the wrongs which need to be righted are deeply seeded in matters like Jim Crow laws, and looking the other way at lynchings in the south (thank you, Karen, again for the education) and the way slavery continued in everything but actual name in those parts of the country almost to this day.
Just wake up and realize the "white devil" is no longer the majority in some places. For years we were told "minority status" was the reason we were supposed to feel guilty. Was that the case? If my momma left me at the hospital and I came into this world with only the skin on my back, did I get a silver spoon someone else didn't?

Sorry to be so late responding to you "batvette"-- I was out buying balloons and a cake for your pity party.
You've done a great job proving my point about hyper-sensitive white folks, who are very good at lobbying criticism at others, but are absolutely incapable of accepting it.
Just to enlighten you a bit more on my point of view, I have no animus or issue with "the white devil". I have never in my adult life felt the least bit threatened by anyone's race or religion. If you feel guilty, or think that you are being made to feel guilty, that's on you-- those are YOUR FEELINGS. I don't know who was telling you that you needed to feel that way because of what you call "minority status". Whoever has been trying to sell that to you is just plain silly in the skull.
Yes, there are people out there that act like victims-- and I have no problem busting their balls either; black, white, yellow, blue, purple, whatever. I think the bigger issue at the root of all of this is the fact that the "race problem" in America lays almost entirely at the feet of white folks. That's not "white devil" talk, that's just a fact. One only needs to watch and listen to right wing conservatives and the dolts that have connected themselves to the teabagger movement to see that.
Correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm sure you will), but if I remember correctly, you're the one that lives in Arizona and has a huge problem with Mexicans. You see them as pests that keep fornicating and having kids and shooting people and jumping on your lawn and stuff....you have said those things, and in the same breath claimed that you were not a racist. Just so you know, I have no problem with you being a racist-- against Mexicans or whoever you want to rationalize your hatred for. Racists don't bother me at all. They don't intimidate me, they don't scare me, or any of those things. I know you feel threatened, like the people in this article, by the "death" of the white race in America. And like the people on White Pride TV-- and I'm not calling you a Klansmen, or anything-- but like these people, you feel as if you're being cornered and blamed for things, and people are telling you how horrible you are. In other words, you're being hyper-sensitive.

I've heard this argument all my life from white folks. There is not one person that can say that having pride is a bad thing. The difference is, when it comes to certain people-- particularly the people on "White Pride TV", is that the bulk of this so-called "pride" is based on demonizing other people.
I mean, I'm proud to be black-- but I don't have to debase white people to show it. That is the nexus of "white pride"-- it's putting down blacks, asians, hispanics, or ANYONE ELSE that is not white.

Eh-- you know something, Karen? You can't squeeze blood from a stone. I'm not looking for the approval of acceptance of people that are so wound up in themselves that they are incapable of any real perspective on American history, and the acknowledgment of basic facts.
You can't have an honest and rational conversation about race in this country-- more specifically, you can't have it with a bunch of emotionally-stunted conservatives. Again, going back to one of the talking points of white racists, these people are extremely hyper-sensitive when it comes to discussing these issues. That's not to say that all people of all races in this country are not hyper-sensitive in some way, shape or form. When it comes to white people, in my experience I see more hyper-sensitivity from them than I do from anyone else.
When I lived in Brooklyn, I had several conversations here and there with some of the black folks in my neighborhood, and they were constantly whining and bitching about "white man" this and "white man" that. I found it incredibly annoying, and was constantly telling these people that this so-called "white man" doesn't give a rat's fat ass about you-- so why do you care? All you need to concern yourselves with is whipping yourselves out of this straw-man complacency, getting your shit together, and making something of your life! That was not well received, needless to say. That's when you get called a "sell out" and other stupid shit that is only really a reflection of their own ignorance. Now, this is a generalization, as not every black person I spoke to had this "white man/white devil" complex. The irony here is that white folks say much of the same thing. It's "why am I getting blamed?!" or "I'm not a racist!" or "slavery is over!" (my personal favorite, because no one has even MENTIONED slavery!), and many, many other whiny, whimpering exclamations.
Bottom line is that American's by-and-large are all f**ked up in the head when it comes to race, because we have ALL had it jammed down our throats collectively for HUNDREDS of years. Racial attitudes, whether you want to accept it or not, have been proliferated by whites. Period. These are the facts. The xenophobic mentality in this country is older than all of us-- whether you're Asian, Hispanic, Native American, Muslim, Irish, Italian...like it or not, it's part of our history that still lives with us today. Does that mean that ALL WHITES are racist? Hell no! The white folks that get up in arms about things like this, the ones that protest most about this discussion, more-than-likely are not racists. Some people are just ignorant. Some still are just assholes. Maybe they're racists, maybe they're not. The one thing that you can rely on is that white racists will never acknowledge that they are "racists." Other white folks are just frustrated with the way the "get blamed" for everything (welcome to the club). But like I said before-- the whites that are whining about this discussion will get over it. We got over it, and so will they.
So you'll ask "well, if you're over it, why are you still talking about it?!" Well, let me tell you why. We have all grown up with elders (parents, grands, etc) that went through REAL racism-- like my mother was only allowed to go to the roller skating rink on Sundays, because from 12pm-3pm was "blacks only"; and that wasn't in Alabama, that was in Philly. My dad was constantly getting into fights while he was in the service because white guys where calling him a "nigger". I was walking down a street in Manhattan 8 years ago, and a group of white kids yelled "nigger" at me from a speeding car (pussies...). When you are given those images and those events to work with....chances are, you're gonna be interested in race relations in America-- mostly because you want to understand why these stupid assholes act like this.
Both of my kids are half white, and they are not going have to deal with much of the same nonsense that I have had to deal with, nor ANY of what my parents or grands dealt with. Will they STILL have to put up with racial issues? Yes. Why? Because of stupid, emotionally stunted black AND white folks still have their heads of their asses. And until each side learns to grow up, race will STILL be a problem in America.
Blacks need to get over the past. And whites need an emotional clensing. THEN the rest of us can get on with our lives.

You know, C, I watch Pat Buchanan and others on television, during current days, lament the decline of White America, as they see it and each and every time statistics like those mentioned above are released, there is a renewed infusion of sense of purpose among the types discussed in your article.

As far as getting over the past and moving forward, respectively, with the latest trend for revisionist history taking hold and being pushed by conservative Republicans and the Right Wing of the Republican Party, the TEA Party, where they find themselves in control of the legislature, I don't see that happening too soon.

But then Karen is sustained by her racial identity and the need to bring it to the forefront while claiming race is not an issue. If it is not an issue stop banging on about it.
You are proud to be black. Good for you. But nobody else should be expected to care.

FaithlessTemplar, I stated that TRADITIONALLY those that embrace the mantle of White pride are concerned about other non Whites and, to their way of thinking, how they, that is White people, will be deprived at the expense of others attaining anything and others ability to usurp White people's rights.
Klansman David Duke, former Republican Louisiana legislator, who is held in very high esteem in White nationalist/supremacist circles which push for White pride and Republican conservative and former U.S. presidential candidate Pat Buchanan have addressed the issue of White people becoming a minority population when compared to and tallying together all other non White populations for more than 30 years.
The issue has always been a pet peeve among people like those that offer the White pride channel written of in this article.

Yeah but did you mean "traditionally" as in "usually" or "stereotypically" or as "the most conspicuous examples, the more sensible ones you don't see".
It might be noted that I have always felt little need to run around validating any similar pride for ethnic inclusion, being of the understand the sentiment of black pride, like gay pride, revolves around cohesion within a group involved in a struggle to rise above a level of oppression. Obviously the people targeted by this article are racist, stupid, scared, or more likely a combination of all three.
However kids go to school and there is black history month, black pride, latino pride, (gay pride probably not flying in the public schools) and I think you will have situations of white kids feeling left out, they want their pride month too- so in those cases we need to understand that effect.
Something about the population growth thing, while I know you feel some connection to the latino issue in Arizona, you don't in the singular issue of the (latino)overpopulation problem. Black and Caucasian women in California, for example, have an almost identical birth rate figure. However due to a number of cultural peculiarities, Latino women have a birthrate close to twice theirs.
Those peculiarities include an overwhelming number being of devout Catholic faith, which forbids any form of birth control, the silly belief by males that fathering as many children as they can makes them appear virile and strong- also called machismo- and the subservient nature of latino women toward the male figure, making sexual relations virtually an "on demand" situation. (I was married to a half latino girl for five years, while her blood was 50% her cultural upbringing was closer to 80%- and it does go down like that, anytime the man wants it, he gets it)
All that adds up to one of the main reasons they've been spilling over our borders for years. Look at the birth rates of Guatamala, Panama, Honduras, and Mexico. Overpopulation. It's not an admirable thing. It also reveals a funny contradiction in the "traditional" leftist platform: A prominent cause is fighting global warming, which is supposed to be caused by human industrial activity and overpopulation in general. How does this fit with embracing illegal immigrants, which only facilitates the overpopulation of latin america?

The border issue was obviously allowed to go ignored because of GOP corporate interests exploiting cheap immigrant labor, as well as they not wanting to risk alienating the fastest growing voter demographic. I mean that wouldn't serve them well to let all those people become democrats, because of the image they are the only party that cares about minorities.

The types addressed in this article, while claiming their pride, are prone to near hysterics regarding their perception that they are being denied what they believe is the only RIGHTFUL claim to rights as citizens in America because, according to THEIR rhetoric, only those worthy of inclusion in America are those of European descent, like the alleged pedigrees of the founders of the United States of America.
Regarding immigration, illegal AND legal, there are those not known to be identified or associated with the usual White pride crowd, LIKE Pat Buchanan and former Republican Colorado representative Tom Tancredo, who have begun advocating an immigration freeze.
In 2001, Mr. Tancredo, with Dick Lamm, introduced just such a measure in Colorado, calling for a 5 year moratorium on ALL immigration to allow a study on immigration's impact in the state. Mr. Tancredo has mused that the same thing should be supported on a national scale.
