White Tail Resort to Host North America's Largest Skinny Dip

The White Tail Resort in Virginia, is to host North America's largest skinny dip on Saturday July 11, 2009, in an effort to break the current Guiness World Record for number of nude skinny dippers at one time.

The record attempt takes place at 3:00 p.m. this Saturday, July 11, 2009.

All participants must be completely nude to take part and must bring photo ID along if they wish to participate.

Does anyone know what the current record is for skinny dipping?

I help run skinnydipping.org. Its funny, this is the first I've heard about the skinny dipping event.

Ah yes, fat Business men and bandy legged, pimply assed Cougars, what a treat, except for the retina scrapings that will soon follow, by anyone who sees them. Funny how many think it will be all Playboy Playmates and Adonis'when in reality, it will be a barfest. Not to mention if it is anything like Wreck Beach, one would hope they would keep their dangly wedding tackle at home instead of showing it in public, as we know Vangroovy is the Tofuest Capital of Canada, so one can assume a run on enema bags for the Nudists, cause since Vangroovians seem to subsist on Starbucks, Yoplait with Probiotics and Tofu fixings, it will be quite a mess to clean up.

Last days events everywhere!

Wow, how un-exciting, degeneration of modern US society does not shock me any more, people want to shame themselves in public are not the type of people I would want to know as it show how low their intelligence is and how they get their gratification kicks. Are they going to have a nude church service first on the beach? I expect the perverted will just love this advent.

Well sweet heart I attended the skinny dip, and it was a very unshameful event. I brought my boyfriend and my 2 years old daughter, and for someone to judge such an event without ever being involved is the shame in the story. As far as intelligence goes I carry a 3.3 GPA in college, which is hardly an unintelligent status. You should learn to let things roll off your shoulder and keep your ugly comments to yourself. Nobody likes a little black cloud.

Did they break the record?

At first I was going to reply to the person with the detestable view of the human body above you, but after reading your particular flavor of dissatisfaction, I decided to reply to you instead.

Nudism in general and nudists in particular are not degenerate, taken as a whole. To say so proves that you have never bothered to attend any nudist venue, specifically a AANR event, else you would not have such an opinion. Great pains are taken to keep all such events very family-friendly, despite what you believe. I would suggest that from now on you actually have first-hand knowledge of an event, lifestyle, or organization before you condemn it/them. I would say THAT shows low intelligence, not simply prefering not to wear clothing when it isn't necessary for comfort or to placate people with closed-minded idealisms.

Keeping with the intelligence topic- I am an enthusiastic nudist, and my IQ is border-line genius. My friends at the resort I frequent include published authors, lawyers, self-made business people, corporate speakers... Shall I go on? Oh, and by the way: print out a copy of your post and take it to your old high school English teacher so she can show you all the punctuation, diction, and spelling errors. I counted at least six on first reading. That may sound harsh, but your slung your stone first, so you need to be prepared to live to the standard you yourself set.

And as for church services? Yes, nudists have them; every week at the resort I visit. I am a conservative, Bible-believing Christian, as are most of my closest nudist friends. I believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, inerrant and complete, and I take it literally. A preferance for nakedness doesn't change that, and the two are not mutually exclusive. Read your Bible again if you don't believe me. I've challenged Southern Baptist ministers, Sunday School teachers, and my father to show me one verse, taken IN CONTEXT, that disapproves of my lifestyle. None have been able to do so. More than that, they have all admitted as much to me to my face.

I am not a pervert, sir, and I take great offense at the accusation, as you may have figured out by this point. Take care- there are more nudists in your community that you might imagine. You probably call one a friend without realizing it. Why does he/she not speak up, you ask? Re-read your post. Who WOULD admit as much, in the face of such derision?
