Well, Johnnie Marbles is about to get more attention than he's ever gotten in his life.

The man who calls himself Johnnie Marbles attacked Rupert Murdoch during the July 19, 2011 hearing. In front of the entire world, Johnnie Marbles somehow made it past security to throw a pie in the face of Rupert Murdoch then claimed responsibility for the attack via Twitter.

Marbles was smacked by Murdoch's wife Wendi Deng then led away and arrested.

Who is Johnny Marbles?

Marbles claims to be part of the protest group Uncut UK. He is a also a stand-up comedian, although he may not be much of one.

This Johnny Marbles stand-up comedy video shows the man at work and let's just say that the Rupert Murdoch pie-in-the-face is likely the funniest thing he's ever done.

A waste of time really. He probably thought he was doing the right thing. To clear the record, Mrs James Murdoch possibly failed to connect with first hit, then fell over under a surge of bodies. Do not let your anger with this character translate into a need to see justice done by a member of the News Corp camp.

Jonnie Marbles - what a talentless, attention-seeking arsehole. Just as the Murdochs are finally on the run, this 10th rate "comedian" blows it all apart and pushes Rupert M back on to the high ground again, distracting the world from what News Corp are responsible for. Very unfunny, and very middle class tosser that thinks "action" is throwing some shaving foam at the the bastard. When workers were sacked in fleet street were beaten and abused by the police (some of who were driving the TNT trucks) and News Corp goons the likes of "Marbles" were tut tuttingin the pubs in Islington,.....
