Lately the advancement of healthcare union workers has tripled in interest and quadrupled in manpower alone because of the lack of jobs offered in other fields by the Obama Administration and the businesses across America finding it hard to stay afloat. Estimated facts from the organization report that there are 47,000 members in the Massachusetts branch of Personal Care Attendant (PCA) workers and an additional 150,000 members in the New York area alone. This union handles billions of dollars in government funds and union dues paid directly by members on a bi-monthly schedule. The dues are used to subsidize the members in various areas; training and advancement funds; pension plans; healthcare insurances. Unfortunately, the delivery of those promises are far and few between. The union started with a number of individuals who have seemed to vanish while the fittest have survived.
