I had SUCH a great day over at City Hall taking pics on the first full day of legal marriages between same sex couple in San Francisco and hanging out with other photographers. The mood was incredible and every time another couple came out we all burst out cheering and started madly snapping. I've never felt so much like a member of the paparrazi! CNN and ABC were there along with local KGO and KPFA. And there I was Citizen Journalist for Flickr nudging my way through the masses, the photographers are very polite, by the way, everyone lets you take your turn. It was the same way at the Olympic Protest. I really respect that. You snap your pic and get out of the way to let the next photog get in place and take their shot. It builds a nice camaraderie. Congrats to everyone who got married today!
More pics to follow tomorrow! I had bookgroup right after so I got home rather late and only had time to post this one!

Oh, oh, oh, and I came home to some great NEWS! Some folks in NYC who are shooting a TV commercial for Dell Computers want to use one of my images! Pretty cool, eh! I'm very pleased. It's a seascape I shot awhile back. It won't make much sense until you see it in context, so you'll have to wait and see, but here's the link to the image, www.flickr.com/photos/mybluemuse/880800389/.
