WHOs TAXING THE USA and CANADA's PATIENCE!
Barry Artiste Op/Ed
Many wonder how two of the most wealthiest countries in the world have hit the proverbial Sh*tter, perhaps this poem can explain it better. And you wonder why I get pissed!
The North American Tax Poem
At first I thought this was funny....then I realized the awful truth of it. Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Tax all he has Then let him know That you won't be done Till he has no dough. When he screams and hollers; Then tax him some more, Tax him till He's good and sore. Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in Which he's laid. Put these words Upon his tomb, 'Taxes drove me to my doom...' When he's gone, Do not relax, Its time to apply The inheritance tax.

I escaped from the country that taxes the most, now they can only tax my pensions and after the tax break its very little money thrown to the wind. here in the Philippines I pay tax but it's something I can well afford.
So you may call me a tax exile, funny enough there are loads of north Americans that live here claiming social security from home. Its nice of you guys to pay for their great time here in paradise, your taxes are used for others pleasure as well as to oil the works of governance. Very charitable I would say. Ironic but true

Sadly too funny. Cap and Save is really tax and spend by crooks, goblins and other nut cases that take our money and waste it on crap.

TAX is a dirty word.

OH Barry! Not my first read on Monday morning!
Tikun is right. This is why politicians lie to stay in office. What job can they do? What are they really qualified to do?
As I am now in Boston and see the faces of the people getting off at the stations I feel "guilty" being retired. It is damned hard to work 9-5 ,come home usually with a brain or body often "assaulted by "others". The sight of exhaustion from humans in jobs they usually do not want to do but now have to in order to "live" is a powerful sight.
My question is who really enjoys their work anymore? Is there such a possibility?
TAX= ?
How about looking at this one for us next?

Depressing, but true. Just wait until next year when our taxes are 'harmonized'. We'll be singing the blues for sure.

Just imagine if we were actually taxed at a rate to fund real spending levels (i.e. we couldn't borrow)? That would really be an ouch. Do you think the American population then would have said let's go to war in Iraq?
The problem as always is we end up overpaying and thus paying taxes for the stuff we don't really need (e.g. wars, defense procurement at ludicrous levels etc) and underfunding the stuff we should invest in (health & education as just a couple of examples).
Was always thus...
