It’s once again a beautiful morning, the sun is blessing my living room windows and the early morning is illuminated with the fierce warm fires of sol.  In the distance I can hear the early morning crowing of hordes of cockerel’s crowing in intermittent harmony a unknown message across this wonderful tropical Island of Negros.

Its 10 AM and as I wipe the sleep from my eyes and take my first sip of aromatic coffee to awake my mind to my daily task of writing an article to inspire the thoughts of my readers.  I am suddenly inspired into opening a debate on why humans do not get on well with each other. Using Korea as an example as North Korea is presently highlighted because of yesterday nuclear test and the world leaders opinions today.

Today we are seeing the after thoughts North Korea and its second atomic test and a response to the prior test launch of a long range rocket. UN and USA are not really getting on well with this communist state.

But why has North Korea pushed things so far, why are they being so stubborn?  The problem goes back to 1945 when the Japanese rulers where force to leave Korea. The influence of the growth of Chinese communism and the dabbling of Socialist Russia and the American Capitalist influence fed social unrest from the very start of the reestablishment of a new self governing democratic Korea. The socialist had made great gains in North Korea. The Capitalist did not want to let the socialist to have and say in the new proposed government. This caused a civil war between North and South Korea with Russia and China backing the North and USA backing the South.

The many communists and suspect communist where treated badly and many where executed in a blood bath of insanity by the South Korean capitalist authorities. It was a very messy war of which USA and UN supplied troops and military support to the south. Russia funded and China gave military support to the North. At the end northing was really gained other than blood shed. The borders between north and south are as started on the 38 line.

However this war had caused hatred by socialist North Korea towards South Korea and USA that has never been forgot. Now due to the facture the human beings involved seemingly can not get on with each other due to hate. North Korea behaves in a fashion that the world seemingly does not fully understand is caused by the hatred formed in Korea’s dreadful historic past.  The hatred as led to North Korea taking steps to arming it self with atomic weapons and ballistic missiles.

Now we see an America not trusting North Korea and can not understand why North Korea acts the way it does. The problem is America may forget the Korean War and hatred towards communist north Korea. However North Korea will not forget its hatred and the hatred its nation was built on. North Korea remembers its martyrs. Of course so does the capitalist South its part and parcel to the culture of being a Korean.

The cure can only applied once USA finds the correct medicine to rid the hatred and that means more understanding of Korean culture and Korean history.

All 5 stars for the post, I really loved it. By the way, wars really don't give anything beneficial except for the fact that sometimes they become inevitable, otherwise they only cause more troubles.

Great Post Bob... thanks for the history. I guess North Korea having been the following war from WWII and the nuclear bombs used on Japan...have always feared them being used on them..They have pursued their defense and security before economic well-being....whereas other countries such as the US used their economic prosperity to build more atomic weapons at the expense of the taxpayers, whether tax payers agreed or not. N. Korea always knows S. Korea has atomic weapons when the US supports them.

What bothers me the most in this whole affair is that N. Korea got its nuclear start from Donald Rumsfeld....just as they helped armed Saddam.

Hey this is one thing you can't blame on Donald Rumfeld. lol see

North Korea and weapons of mass destruction#Chronology of events

North Korea is reacting in a way USA will never understand, its inbuilt part of the culture, it goes by a different set of rules of honor, power and saving face. Western minds can not understand. Its a case if you show authority the arrogance of the authority is over rid by arrogance. Its all about pride and showing face of equality and not loss of face.

You are way of line in your mode of thought and so is America. You can not judge these people on a Western cultural level, they have different values concerning honor etc.

Hey Bob...I think its good that N. Korea has the bomb. Given what happened on 911, and the lie to go to War....who trusts the USA anymore. I never trust those lying hucksters. I don't blame N. Korea, for having the bomb...I blame the US for not working toward disarmament. How many does the US have? 10,000, and more? N. Korea has how many? 1. http://nuclearweaponarchive.org/Usa/Weapons/Wpngall.html....
