Why Won't They Listen?

Have you wondered what gets in the head of these elected government Representatives and Senators that show such an open hostility for their constituents that just want their voices heard?  Have you ever wondered why they seem to resent the "task" of having town hall meetings where they actually listen to us?  You've heard the reports and seen the videos of Congresspersons taking cell phone calls or demanding speakers produce identification in a pathetic display of contempt for the very people that elected them.

If we were lobbyists, however, we would have their undivided attention.  You see unless you accompany your concerns with junkets to the Bahamas or dinners at Mario's, you just aren't taken seriously.

All you represent is a vote, not the millions of dollars needed to try and swindle you out of your vote.

It's all about the money.
