Immigration Reform: Will Says... Tan Block Oil SB-1080 Every RED Blooded Citizen should have it!
Now, all I know is what I see in the fields... And I know when I drive through Nevada, Arizona, and California I don't see many white farmers anymore, unless it's El Jefe. Now, I have travelled all over this country many times around and to set the record straight, I just don't see ma and pa standing by the barn like the painting "American Gothic" from 1930. Is it because our small time farms & ranches have been strangled by the rapidly growing weed we call Corporate America...? In any case, if my previous statement is true, it would explain the reason why we see such an abundance of cheap labor workers populating our fields. Now, I don't knock anyone that wants to take what ever jobs comes their way. I would rather be the guy busy counting my pennies all day than the one with little common cents. Work is work, and unemployment is, well, no work.
I see and hear, all the time, the statement "These folks work real hard and they will take all the jobs that Americans DON'T want and they will do it for pennies on the dollar." Now, that can be seen as a negative statement or a positive statement. However, my hit on this is... employment should not be defined as "The work you want more but more as the work you need to take to survive. If you are one of the Americans that are affected by the statement above then here is my plan, and it won't cost you a red cent!
We Americans should consider taking these jobs (at whatever rate of pay) and ANY job that is open to us. This way if we take all the jobs, it will make us (the USA) less appealing to folks that are waiting in line to get in. Plus, there won't be any jobs left for anyone but us that live here now. People can make more money doing something than doing nothing (unless you are a politician). In that case, we would pay them more if they would just do LESS.
The statement: "They will take all the jobs that Americans DONT want", makes Americans sound like we are too good to work in our own country. I know what you are thinking; "But corporate America loves those cheap workers, so will immigration reform ever happen, Will? " Good question, however, that is another story and we can only take on one task at a time. Americans need to start taking all the jobs. If you think it pays too little, talk to one of those home based business folks. That stuff rarely pays out, trust me I done it. Or maybe we should try to reverse the roles, go to Mexico, invade them and see what we might be paid in their country Then wonder why everyone wants to be in America.
