Will village Goddess Satymma help Baba recover?

Puttaparti, April 6 The marble idol of Village Goddess Sattemma which was immersed in the Bukkapatnam tank was at last recovered on Tuesday morning after and arduous search by locals and foreign devotees of Bhagavan Satya Saibaba.

The idol was immersed about six months ago and devotees of Bhagavan Baba felt that his health started failing after it. They said some bad omens were also experienced. After the Bhagavan’s health deteriorated, locals started feeling that the idol should be recovered and reinstalled. On Monday evening a devotee said the Goddess came on her and directed that the idol be immediately recovered, so that Baba would become normal. Since then a vigorous search for the idol was launched. Foreign devotees also participated in the search.

Soon after the idol was recovered, it was brought into the town in a procession and consecrated. An elaborate puja was performed before the idol was reinstalled. All the people of Puttaparti including foreigners participated in the programme.
