Arizona School Shooting: Willcox High School

One male student was wounded in a shooting at Willcox High School in Willcox, Arizona.

All schools in the Willcox School District were locked down after the shooting, which happened on Willcox High School's baseball field before an after-school baseball game. The lockdown has since been lifted.

The shooter was not a student. A dispute between two adults led to one of them shooting at the other. The shooter missed, hitting a Willcox High student.

The two adults were arrested, and a third is being sought by police. The wounded student's injuries are not life-threatening. The names of those involved have not been released.

The shooting took place at around 3:30 MT (2:30PT/5:30 ET).
