US AIrways made an emergency landing today in the Hudson. Seriously, who would have thought this was possible? Congrats to the pilot who pulled off this quick thinking and saved over 130 lives today. Everyone on board survived.

You could see rescue lights everywhere on both the New York and New Jersey shores.
The air smelled strongly of JP4 fuel for some distance around the plane. Reminded me of the smell of refueling the F-16's in the Air Force.
