WITNESS SELMA MORA - ZIMMERMAN KILLING CONTINUED AFTER SHOOTING
Today, Selma Mora testified, with the help of an interpreter, that she looked out of her porch and observed a man in a red and black jacket, straddled atop another person, who was face down and motionless, and George had his hands on the incapacitated person's head. She called out to Zimmerman, who eventually told her to call the police. At that time, he got off the person and began walking to and fro. She said that a man with a flash light arrived later.
Nevertheless, when the man with the flashlight arrived, George Zimmerman was once again on top of Trayvon Martin, with his hands pressing Trayvon's body. In fact, Zimmerman explained his aggression with a dead, or near-dead person, by inviting the man with the flashlight to help him subdue the motionless Trayvon.
Clearly, George Zimmerman knew that Trayvon Martin was no threat by the time the man with the flashlight arrived, because he left Trayvon motionless and unattended after the woman called out to him. If her recounting of the facts is correct, he remounted, what he knew to be a dead or dying person, and applied force to the body, The only way to make sense of it is to conclude that George Zimmerman remounted Trayvon, after he sent the woman to call the police, to kill him.
